Store-bought iced sugar cookies tend to be disgusting, thanks to the plentifully applied cheapo icing that tastes like plasticine puking Skittles. They use royal icing (which tastes like creamy sugar, as icing should), colorful sprinkles, and a sour cherry ball to decorate the cookies. They even dare to leave a few spaces blank, letting the cookie itself shine through and cutting down on the sweetness a tad.
Get a dozen of these pretties for $36.00. Yes, that’s $3 a cookie. Novelty isn’t cheap, folks.
